Review~ Tony Moly - Peach Anti-Aging Hand Cream
post Monday, June 10, 2013 speech bubble 2 comment(s)

Hello!
So this is my first review post and it's going to be on Tony Moly's Peach Anti-Aging Hand Cream!

Tony Moly is a popular beauty brand in Korea in case you haven't heard of it before, so you wouldn't really find this product at your local store (outside of Asia); however this product is readily available online.
I purchased this from Kocomall where it's currently only $4.64! (<- click). I seriously recommend buying from here. Prices vary on different websites so it all depends where you want to purchase from, but here are some other places (Link will direct you to product): YesStyle, Sasa, and obviously there's ebay~

DESCRIPTION:
Adenosine- Anti wrinkle functioning ingredient Peach extract- improves skin elasticity, anti-wrinkle, improves dry skin Apricot extract- Anti-aging, crackles, whitening, soothing skin, moisturizing.

Now, onto the actual review!
So when you first open up the peach, there's a thin plastic lid which stops the cream from escaping and I think this is really nice as you don't have to worry about it leaking when the cream rolls around in your bag.

When I removed the plastic lid I could smell the cream straight away and gosh really it smelt SO GOOD. I'm sensitive to things that are heavily scented, but this was no problem for me at all and I seriously couldn't stop smelling it for like five minutes haha. It's a really fresh and sweet peachy smell.

The cream is a light pink color (I apologize for the bad lighting by the way!). When I took this picture I'd probably used it around 10 times already, so I do feel like you get a decent amount. The pot isn't particularly deep but I feel like the cream will last me around 2 months at a guess because you don't need to apply too much.

SWATCH~

Here I just took some cream out of the pot with my finger and put a sensible amount on the back of my hand. The cream feels quite thick and not light like you would expect (I think it looks like it would be light?) and is pretty rich. This is the amount of cream I use and is enough to cover both hands.

After rubbing in the cream~ The cream feels soft as soon as you start rubbing it in and is instantly moisturizing, I have quite dry hands and this works well for me. It starts sinking into your skin straight away and doesn't feel horrible and sticky afterwards, but really soft.

For me, I can honestly see good results as soon as the cream has all been rubbed in. It makes my skin LOOK smoother and softer, as well as feeling smoother and softer. There is also a slight shine that stays on your hands. The scent doesn't vanish straight away either which is nice because like I said, it smells so good! I don't really have wrinkles on my hands but because I have dry hands you can see lines I guess?.. and these do look more 'filled' once the cream is applied. As for whitening, I can't say much for that but with continued use it could build up more.

FINAL VERDICT:
Good points
~ Definitely Moisturizing/soothing
~ Suitable for sensitive skin
~ Noticeably softer skin
~ Improves dryness
~ Lovely scent!

(Honestly for me there aren't really any bad points! But these could be for other people)
Bad points
~ Doesn't noticeably whiten skin
~ Slight shine could bother some people

Overall score: 8.5/10
